A still depleted Clan, boosted by the return of Tuma but minus the services of Zemlak visited the Murrayfield Ice Arena to face the Edinburgh Capitals tonight.
Mike Will started in goal for Clan and played well, making some great saves in all three periods.
This was a match the tired Clan were expected to lose on paper but, quite simply, they did not deserve to do so based on the basis of their performance. They out shot and outplayed the Caps over the 60 minutes.
Sat behind the bench, it was pleasing to hear and see the passion and commitment of every single one of the players and I am in no doubt once we have a full and fit roster we will be a force to be reckoned with!
This season so far has been a nightmare for Clan for various reasons but mostly injuries, hopefully between now and the turn of the yearvwe’ll get the break we need!!
